We have so many great young people that attend mission trips each year and we want to help!

Each year our board sets aside a portion of money to help our students show the love of Christ doing mission work in the states and abroad.  However, there is a procedure to follow for anyone seeking financial assistance.

The first step to receiving a financial gift for your mission trip is to submit a one page letter or paper that explains the details of your mission trip (date, location, etc).  In addition, though, we want you to share with us how you are expecting God to use you while serving.  We want to know what you are looking forward to and perhaps even what you are most nervous about.  These letters must be submitted by the 3rd Friday in October (for first semester gifts) and the 3rd Friday in March (for second semester gifts).  This can be submitted through email to homeschoolchc@gmail.com or to Mindy at co-op.

The second step is to be prepared to share in front of a small group of parents about your trip.  This doesn't have to be anything fancy.  We want it to come from your heart.  This will take place within a week or two of the above dates.  We will do our best to have it take place on a Friday afternoon right after co-op so that no special trips have to be made back out during the week.

The following week we will let you know what amount we were able to bless you with for the mission trip.  Our prayer is that we are able to help those that want to reach out and minister to others!
