"Christ Jesus Came"
I Timothy 1:15
"The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners..."
We are so excited for another semester of interpretive dance
at the Catoosa Homeschool Co-op. Interpretive dance is a style of worship
dance that utilizes sign language, interpretive movement and dance moves (from
all forms of dance) in a way that uses the whole body to worship God.
Deuteronomy 6:5 "Love the Lord your God with all your
heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
Who can participate?
The spring dance ministry is available to all homeschool
girls from ages 4 to 18.
The summer
dance camp that we offer is open to all children, boys and girls, regardless of
school type.
When are the dance classes?
Classes will be each Monday, beginning February 26th, and go
through May 6th. (We will take Monday, April 1st, off for Spring Break.)
There will be a final recital for friends and family to
come watch on Friday, May 10th, at 7pm.
Ages 4-12 will have class
from 1230-125pm. Ages 13-18 will have class from 130-225pm.
*Class placement is based on age and previous
experience with the dance ministry. Please let Mindy know on the registration
page if you have any special requests. In addition, Mindy will notify you if she has questions about placement for your child based on age.
Where will dance classes be held?
New Heights Baptist Church on Ooltewah Ringgold Road has been
gracious enough to allow us to have our dance classes at their fantastic
facility.
How much do the classes cost?
The class is $65 per child with a max of $250 per
family.
